SOS Watch

SOS Watch needed a website that could do two things at once: explain a technically complex product in plain language, and build enough trust for a vulnerable audience to take action. The target users were seniors, people with disabilities, and their families — people who aren't necessarily tech-savvy, but who are making a meaningful safety decision.

The challenge

Most smartwatch websites are designed for a younger, tech-enthusiast audience. Bold claims, dense feature lists, jargon-heavy copy. That approach doesn't work when your customer is a 72-year-old or their adult child researching options for an aging parent. The site needed warmth, clarity, and credibility above all else.

What we built

The site was built entirely in Webflow, with a responsive layout that performs equally well on desktop and mobile. Given the audience, mobile accessibility was especially important — many users would be browsing on tablets or phones rather than laptops.

The design uses generous white space, large readable typography, and a calm colour palette to communicate safety and trust. Complex features like fall detection, GPS tracking, and the SOS button are explained through plain-language copy paired with clear visuals, rather than spec sheets.

Webflow CMS was used to manage testimonials, which are a key trust driver for this type of product. Real user stories — particularly from carers and family members — were structured to appear throughout the key conversion pages.

Performance and SEO

The site was optimised for Core Web Vitals from the ground up. Images were compressed and served in modern formats, and Webflow's global CDN ensured fast load times across Australia. Structured data was added to support rich search results, and every page was given unique, keyword-focused meta titles and descriptions targeting terms relevant to emergency wearables and NDIS-approved devices.

Outcome

The site launched in 2024 and serves as SOS Watch's primary digital presence for the Australian market. The clean, accessible design and clear product explanation have helped establish the brand's credibility with both individual customers and healthcare providers.
