BigScreen VR

BigScreen VR is a social virtual reality platform that lets users watch movies, hang out, and work together in immersive virtual spaces. Their audience is tech-forward, visually literate, and expects a digital experience that matches the quality of the product itself. Anything generic or templated wouldn't work here.
The challenge
The challenge was translating a spatial, three-dimensional product experience into a flat two-dimensional website. VR is hard to demonstrate without actually putting someone in a headset. The site needed to create a sense of presence and atmosphere through visual design and motion, making the product feel exciting and worth trying before the user has experienced it directly.
What we built
The site uses a dark, immersive design language that echoes the VR environment itself — deep backgrounds, glowing accents, and carefully choreographed scroll animations that build atmosphere as the user moves down the page.
Webflow's interaction tools were used extensively here. Scroll-triggered animations reveal platform features section by section, creating a sense of discovery that mirrors the experience of exploring a virtual space. The animations are GPU-accelerated and tested across devices to ensure they run smoothly without affecting page performance.
Responsive design was built mobile-first. While VR itself is primarily a desktop and headset experience, the marketing site needs to work everywhere — many users will first encounter BigScreen on a phone or tablet before switching to a larger device to download it.
Outcome
The site delivers a premium digital experience that matches the quality and ambition of the BigScreen VR product. Visitors understand what the platform offers quickly, and the visual atmosphere creates genuine excitement about trying it.
